Curieux Spaghetti Bar
14 Rue Saint Merri, 75004, ParisMetro: Hotel de Ville
Cuisine: Italien
CURIEUX SPAGHETTI BAR opened its doors in Paris in June 2004. Creativeness, humor and a special sense of detail quickly made this Italian inspired restaurant, located between the Centre Georges Pompidou (Beaubourg) and the Marais area, a success. The menu revisits traditional Italian dishes, with spaghetti of course, served by the plate or pot, but also bruschetta, antipasti and different dishes of the day every day of the week, or even home-made specialties like limoncello (lemon digestive drink) and Chups (flavored vodka shots). The interior is an inspirational mix of the modern, baroque and psychedelic, but still totally chic, with a vermilion ten-meter long Corian bar, crystal chandeliers, compressed wood on the floor, the tables and some of the walls and fleeting wallpapers.More than a simple bar or restaurant, CURIEUX SPAGHETTI BAR is seen as a pleasant and dynamic place, where you can come for lunch or dinner, meet up with friends or colleagues, and change atmosphere to share a few friendly drinks.
