Mavrommatis in the 5th district of Paris is run by the renowned Mavrommatis brothers who also run the Laurier, Les Délices d'Aphrodite (Aphrodite's delights) and the Bistrot Mavrommatis. It is one of the best Greek restaurants in Paris. Andréas Mavrommatis himself manages the kitchen and is considered to be one of the best Greek chef's in the world. The décor is quite classical with potted plants on the terrace and photos on the walls, but the food is inventive and refined. There are of course the standard Greek options such as stuffed fine leaves and fish based specialities with southern wines to accompany them. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming just like Greece!
